Bath time is probably Sydney’s favorite time of day. She LOVES soaking in very warm water and kicking her legs while her body is cleaned. Bath time in New York has been even more fun than bath time in Colorado because Sydney is now old enough to play with a few bath toys and she gets very excited when she looks at herself in the mirror wrapped in various animal towels. (Her grandparents in New York have a plethora of fun animal towels!) Photos below:
Here is Sydney in her favorite towel back in Colorado:
On Thursday, November 7th, at 13 weeks and 4 days old, Sydney made her very first trip in the air. She flew about 4 hours from Denver to New York’s La Guardia Airport, and she was a champ. During takeoff, she slept soundly, in her car seat, which was fastened into a seat next to her mommy. In the air, she slept, played with a couple of toys, drank some milk, made a huge poop, went for a walk with her daddy, and cried a teeny bit. Upon descending, she drank a bit more milk and passed out in her mommy’s arms, where she continued to sleep for the landing. Photos below:
It’s incredible that three whole months have passed since the birth of our baby girl. She is growing and changing every day. Among her latest tricks: Rolling from her stomach to her back, holding her bottle/pacifier/bib/burp cloth, grabbing her toys, and hugging her stuffed animals Here are some recent photos:
It’s a bird, it’s a plane… it’s SUPERGIRL! On Sydney’s first Halloween, Devon took her for a stroll on Pearl Street Mall to check out Boulder’s Munchkin Masquerade a trick-or-treat that allows young kids to get out with their parents early and safely. Sydney is not yet a candy eater (must get that from her parents) and mostly slept through the event.
Life has changed in one year. A year ago we were in Tucson celebrating Devon and my wedding. A year later, here is what our laundry room looks like!
